Is it of WE won the lotto and drafted Edwards, we'd move CJ, or we'd move CJ for edwards?

Great question! It’s if we won the lottery we would draft Edwards and trade CJ away

Do the Sixers have a pick in the lotto this year?

No they don’t. They have only 1 first round pick via OKC and that’s slated to be around 22

Hell NO! Nurk continues to grow, and CJ proved the player he's becoming in that Denver series. Enough of this BS. Plus Chemistry IS important, and Embiid is a legend in his own mind. We don't need the distraction.

Fair point. But since you probably didn’t read the thread now we are talking about if the blazers miraculously landed the 1st pick, what would we do that pick? Draft Edwards and trade CJ away? Or even keep CJ and draft someone else? Or just trade the pick and keep CJ?

True, i did get off track by responding to that trade idea. But i don't trade a proven, CJ, for an unproven, Edwards, unless you are 99.9% sure he is a generational talent. I don't watch alot of college bball, so enlighten me, is Edwards a generational talent prospect?

Cramming for an NBA Draft on Youtube. Edwards does look real good. Already got the body and athleticism. Could become a dominant player at the next level. Does make you think if , and it's a big if, the Blazers end up in lottery and get 1st pick. Of course id rather the NBA finish the regular season, Blazers get in the Playoffs, and now healthy, wreak havoc and win the Trophy.

Edwards is in my opinion the best prospect out of this draft in term of actually showing the numbers and skills. At 6 foot 5 with a strong 6 foot 9 wingspan he’s more of a power guard. His jump shot is a beauty. His most common comparison is a bigger, badder Victor Oladipo or a bigger Donovan Mitchell. He clearly has the talent to be a top 3 shooting guard. If he can learn not to take plays off on the defensive end then he will be a top 10 maybe even top 5 player in the league. So with that being said, yes CJ is a proven scorer but that is all he gonna be. He just a 20ppg player who isn’t that good on defense. Trent was threatening for his starting role before the season got suspended. So if we draft Edwards it would be Trent that would be starting and having Edwards off the bench would be awesome. And we can always trade CJ for another proven player like a wing that we so desperately need. Let go trade for Simmons or even Khris Middleton. CJ is very much our version of Monta Ellis, he’s holding us back in taking that next step to a true championship contender. Fans need to quit thinking he’s our Klay Thompson because he is not

After watching the mock draft, and video footage, Edwards looks really good, as does Obi Toppen. Like what i see in him. Vassell looks like a quality pick that might be there when the Blazers pick. I like what i see in international sensation Deni Avdija. He looks very very good. That mock on CBS Sports had our Blazers picking Leandro Bolmara, who, to me, looks like a total stiff. He doesn't look like a fluid player at all. That being said, i'm no draft guru.

Most overrated IMO, will be LaMarshmello Ball. Looks like another Ball with an ugly jump shot stroke. His brother Lonzo did improve his shooting, and looks like he's moved away from that hitch in his shot. Lonzo actually has become a pretty good NBA ball player.

Speaking of CJ, has anyone noticed how much his body has developed, and how he looks like a full 3 inches taller than Dame now. He still has development left in his game as well ,IMO, and i know he has the hunger to continue to get better.

I am all for having CJ back for one more season. I think this team deserves a shot when it’s heathy. But next year have to be Make it or break it season. In order for the blazers to make it they need a starting small forward. Ariza have done great for us but he is getting old. Hood was doing fine before he got hurt but because of the type of injury he suffered we don’t know how good he will be. With that being said we could go with a committee approach with Ariza, Hood, and Little. We would still win games but I feel it won’t be enough to get to the finals. So that’s why I think we need to trade for OG Anunoby. He the kind of guy I would overpay for a legit shot at a championship. I would trade both of our picks for him. And whatever else it take to get him

I’d love to see Little break out but Stotts will probably pull him whenever he does something wrong.

Granted he's young, but he might be past the acne stage.

Hell no. Embiid isn’t that much of an upgrade over Nurk and no one else in that deal is worth shit.
