Stephen A Smith giving Lillard something to internalize when he is working out. I think it was Smith that also said AD should have been ROY right? Nice!
So he thinks he should go to the Lakers? Let's ignore that he seemed to mentioned "signed" with the Lakers, who exactly are they going to trade for him? He'll make almost 32 million next year. I'm not sure they have anyone, outside of Kuzma, who would be considered worth trading for, that they'd actually trade.
I wonder what he was thinking. Wonder if it gave him Larry Bird flashbacks--both the boldness of the shot and the reaction after the shot.
I think he was having a deja vu moment of Dame’s shot in the Houston series and threw up in his mouth a bit.
Not a fan of Stephen A... at all. But, he's obviously correct. The best way to win a championship is to try to make or join a super-team.
What better way to make a statement than to win it this season? Get Nurk and Collins back, make the 8th seed, kick butt, win the chip and give Stephen A. the bye-bye wave. Yeah, I may have been watching a few too many sports movies lately.
Players don’t win rings. Organizations do. The question should be “what do the Trail Blazers have to do to win a championship?”
Let me guess, Jerry Krause was the hero of The Last Dance for you, not Mike Jordan? Though, actually, I think Krause was a great GM. Whether he and Reinsdorf should have broken up the team in 1998/99 is another question.
Totally disagree. How do you know that. There were people in here years ago who said Dame was done developing, and should be traded. HOW DO YOU KNOW. Nurk is relatively young to basketball, and continues to develop. CJ's defense has gotten better each year. Dame continues to add something, EVERY offseason. Sit back, root for your team, add a little patience PLEASE, and enjoy the ride.
Now, to answer the question, i believe stay healthy, keep most of this roster intact, and if, you can add a player like Tobias Harris without losing this teams top notch talent, go for it. But i feel with a little more development, this teams future is sky high.
