None of that is relevant to my post you quoted. I asked that maybe you act like an adult. I see by the response that you can not. I'd ask at a minimum that you put in the effort that I ask of the kids in my class but I dont think that's likely either.

I agree with a lot of what you said right there.

All I can suggest is if a future situation like this arises instead of assuming that someone is being a hypocrite maybe they have grown and trying to be better going forward.

I've read enough of your posts to know that in r/l you would treat someone like this.

You could have said to HCP, "I agree, we all need to be nicer to each other and I'm glad you finally see that."

Something like that would have lead to the result you wanted.

Yes it would've achieved the same sharp point.
However the more simple task is to make sure if I visit sportstwo.com I visit it only logged in.. Or not at all.
That way people like HCP can stay on ignore and never be read.
Cyber bullies don't deserve second chances. As they see nothing wrong with their behavior.

While I do believe there is a far better way to handle a situation than going directly to an employer.
There are similar things being employed when someone gets fired for clapping at a lady in traffic using a racial slur. And when someone cyber bullies someone.
    Should the same outcome happen?
We just recently had someone rightfully fired for trying to get a black man arrested. When the black man asked a white lady to leash her dog in a leash required area.
The white lady tried to use the ''power'' she believes she has over this black man to get him arrested.
Cyber bullies attempt to assert "power" over their victims in a similar fashion.

Do I think HCP should lose his job? No.
Do I think I should lose my job when I had someone send a letter in to my boss about me on this site? No
But you still must as a person if this happens to you, take a step back and re-evaluate.

I wasn't disagreeing with you or saying that what the "x word" is is the point. I agree with you that any form of bullying is wrong. I was simply curious as to what that word was as I've never come across anyone mentioning the "x word" before.

Using x y or z is a variable in language that you may use when you choose to not repeat a word.
Think of it as a math-liek variable.

I'm not sure about being better off than 4 years ago, although I didn't worry about Covid 4 years ago

but considering that the OP of this thread was posted at 8:20 AM, and considering how the thread has 'gone', I was better off 6 hours ago

It's a shame that certain posters on this forum don't have the self-control and maturity to simply not engage with people they either don't like or continuously get into arguments with. It's such a simple fix, which leads me to believe that these particular posters don't actually want to solve the problem, they want the attention.

You are correct. I am incorrect. I didn't realize you were referring to my very first post that had subsided and I thought, and had made, several posts after. So, I did quote him and make a comment.

My error, but then I didn't notice any issues following it, so didn't think that was an origination of this. Nonetheless,. I was wrong on that.

Its a fault. Thinking that somehow it will have a different more mature result. Thinking that maybe this is the moment that the corner can be turned.. and so I try....

Pretty easily turned to both parties involved being at fault.
