    sigh, uneducated people not understanding why their dog behaves in such a manner.
    Your dog was picking up on your emotional crazed state. Which caused it to act in such a way.
    Sadly this dog is now returned to the shelter and taken from it's forever home simply because the lady didn't educate herself.
