Gerald Green could help on the offensive end but he is a sieve defensively (so not dissimilar to Melo). Jeremy Lin ... ummm, no. We don’t need any more guards that can’t play a lick of defense. Any interest in Joe Johnson? Yes, yes I know he’s been retired for a couple of seasons but he’s fresh off a MVP award in the Big3 league and can likely play the 2 and 3 off the bench. Dude can still get buckets, there’s no doubt about that, and he brings some much needed size.
“It was previously reported that only players who were signed to an NBA or G League contract this season were in the pool of eligible players. However, that's since changed to potentially including players who have been on an NBA or G League contract either this season or last. Players who are deemed ineligible to be signed at this time are international players.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cb...players-for-nbas-restart-at-disney-world/amp/
This will not help us guard Lebron or Kawhi…..but I understand Ariza's priorities and think he's making a smart decision...does Jake Layman still have a job?
Just to follow, he's probably not actually mad. He very cool about directly speaking if something actually bothers him. He's a good person.
Add me to the chorus of "this sucks, but I have to respect Ariza's priorities". If he misses time, and the unlikely happens, can be join the playoff roster?
