Stop in Fossil. On the hill at the end of the high school football field dig fossils. Take some little trowels and gloves. They are easy to find. Their is a place in town with all the information. Should be on your way to the painted hills. If you want a fun short hike while in Redmond, look up steelhead falls.
Hmmm....didn't you mention that you've never been to Crater Lake? Also, this is a fun, scenic drive..
My parents use to take me on that drive back in the early 50s. Yeah, I'm older than electricity according to one niece. I remember one trip when we stopped on Larch mountain to pick huckleberries. We'd always stop at some Indian roadside stop to buy some smoked fish, sometimes dried smelt. Delicious.
No Facebook is not aware of your guys beef. It just knows you are both connected by 4 other friends and assumes you might want to be friends too.
Sorry. Shoulda used green font. I know. I just found it funny for some reason. Besides i think its more fat and gristle than beef, really.
Join the Audi club and you can drive the best road in the NW, Maryhill loops! I've done it with the Bmw club. Epic.
