facebook should just go away as all it has turned into is a cesspool of nastiness. The world would be better off without social media crap.
Not every post requires a response. Especially when you are trying to just troll. I do find it funny when I offer a serious response to what's trending, you are usually nowhere to be found. Did you see that beautiful response by your boy when given that homerun pitch about his agenda for second term? He says he played baseball and couldn't even get a foul tip as he whiffed and tripped in the box. Wharton education at it's finest.
Allow Me to present a scenario where it isn't good. The objective is to rid society of racism right? But currently with allowing them a platform to be vocal, they are simultaneously calling themselves out for the world to be known and thus try to fix. Take away their microphone and they are hidden, swept under the rug and forgotten about, until you find some nazi army growing and taking over Idaho and moving on to the rest of the country. But to me, that's not the scariest thing. Its muting certain voices because you disagree with their point of view. NO matter how vial a persons point of view is, they have the right to have it. You take that away form them and who is to stop FB from taking other things away as well? I agree racism and hate speech should be irradiating, but trying to silence them on social media will have the opposite effect.
I've said it before, it depends on what you use it for. Our family is HUGE and all over the country. It's been an amazing tool for us to all stay connected and with our families grow up. I love facebook. I don't ever see any political ads or anything on my page.
And this is a GOOD thing? I love photography.....Instagram is amazing. I follow photographers from all over the world.
I'm going to disagree and say the objective is to limit disinformation and hate, not just racism which I say falls in the category of hate.
