He's really good at taking charges in the paint and getting bigs in foul trouble...he can make a jumpshot and he's a scrappy rebounder...if he's in shape...he's also 5 fouls I don't want Zach picking up...all the bench guys I mentioned I figure for spot minute players...not big rotation minutes...if Biggie has issues at this point...Gabriels can take his place...the guys waiving towels on the bench will be the new G league guard and Moses Brown more than likely

I’d only put Simons on your list.

The guy barely got any minutes with Nurk and Collins out, there’s no chance he’s getting any minutes now that they’re healthy. And thank god.

He barely was a Blazer last season but he cracked the bench rotation before Gabriels, Hoard, Little or even Mario at times...Biggie helped us win much more than Tolliver ever did even in a small sample size...you don't have to like him but let's deal with what actually happened this season on the court...he played pretty damned well for us

Biggie was actually playing pretty well before the league shut down as he rebounds well and sets decent screens and actually passes the ball decent for a pf.

the only reason he cracked the rotation is because he already knew the system. And if he played so well as you say, why were his minutes cut as time went on?

I don't live in the coach's head....he makes those decisions...I was actually surprised at how well Biggie played...he reminded me of Ed Davis energy wise...Stotts played a ton of different lineups last season. Players have minor injuries that we don't hear about as well. Who knows.....my take from what you've posted is....you don't like Biggie. I don't need to like Biggie to assess his value to the team. He may not be in good shape today...nobody has seen these guys in months...I also wouldn't overhype a G league 6 ft point guard going off his G league stats.....all against G league defense

it’s funny you keep bringing up Adams when the topic is Biggie. I would scramble too if I didn’t have any legit arguments. Bye.

I've mentioned all my projected rotation players....mentioned Adams once.....somebody is scrambling but I'm just posting about basketball....have a nice trip if you're going somewhere
The topic is who plays and how many minutes....not Biggie or Adams...your first post simply says play Adams and not 4 other players....deal with the response or not...I think Adams is a good pickup to take a look at but if we play in Orlando I want to win

Cut as time went on? The month of February when we played a full month, Biggie averaged 14+ minutes and he averaged 13+ minutes for the season in Portland. He played a little less in March but that was only 5 games and not a complete schedule.

I always find it funny how some players get crapped on in this forum and then along come end of bench players like Gabriel and now Adams and they are instant rotation players in some posters mind.

Adams is closer to playing time than Biggie just purely by numbers. This team doesn’t have one legit backup point guard. Hasn’t for years. Meanwhile center is stacked with two starters and Collins. Biggie ain’t gonna play.

In the playoffs CJ and Ant are going to be ahead of Adams in the rotation...as it is he'll be a 3rd string pg...much like Wade Baldwin or Tim Frazier were unless he miraculously beasts and takes the job from Ant....not likely but a remote possibility....Stotts doesn' t generally trust a G league player in the regular season early upon arrival and in the playoffs.....the rotation will tighten up even more

I’m not a numbers guy, but is third string higher than fourth string? Because Biggie is the fourth string center. And the guys ahead of him have their spots cemented. The leash will be short with Simons.

“Biggie is a stretch 4 with a 3 point shot”

Career 11% 3PT shooter. (26% in the g league, zero attempted threes this season)
