I don’t think so. Haven’t they had special MLK Day or Breast Cancer Awareness or Pride special shirts or warmups? I know the Oregon Ducks wore pink uniforms for a game.

Get that weak shit out of here--that song certainly doesn't represent EVERYONE the way you seem to think it does. But, hey, at least your indoctrination is complete. So... there's that!

Your totally earnest concern for the "urban communities" truly warms the heart.

I think it's terrible that organizations all over the country are putting the word "Police" on the sides of buildings and cars, when the Police Movement has done so much harm to race relations and destroyed any goodwill that existed after we watched "Cops".

You know you can ignore a viewpoint when it not only alleges that there's shadowy "cabal" aided by the media but that actually the most oppressed group of people in the nation are running it. It takes effort to be this ignorant.

Ignore it if you wish, but Black Lives Matter has destroyed thousands of black businesses and black neighborhoods across the country. Seventeen people have been killed by the protestors, including a black cop who served his community for 37 years. Motorists have been attacked on freeways, innocent white people have been beaten and shot at, windows broken, stores looted, public monuments vandalized, and on and on. America is watching, and most Americans are horrified by the random and senseless violence. The behavior of BLM is not changing racial attitudes—it is reinforcing them.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
That's a solid case of you projecting your own beliefs and prejudices on "the American people."

Polls show widespread support of Black Lives Matters protests and varied views on how to reform police

About two-thirds support the recent Black Lives Matter protests over police brutality and discrimination in the US, and there's agreement on a wide variety of proposals on how to reform the nation's police departments, recent polls show.

A Kaiser Family Foundation poll out Thursday found 64% of Americans supported the recent protests against police violence, including 86% of Democrats, 67% of independents and 36% of Republicans. Support for the protests is seen across racial lines, with 84% of blacks, 64% of Hispanics and 61% of whites in support.

A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday found 67% of registered voters supported the protests as a response to "the death of George Floyd at the hands of police."

The killing of George Floyd last month sparked protests nationwide over police brutality and racism against black Americans. A Pew Research poll from last week found 67% of Americans support the Black Lives Matter movement.

According to the Quinnipiac University poll, a clear majority -- 55% -- thinks the protests will lead to meaningful reform. That includes 76% of Democrats, 53% of independents and 34% of Republicans.

Widespread support exists for the protests and movement as a whole, and a majority support each proposal suggested in the Kaiser Family Foundation poll, with a few key partisan differences.

More than 9 in 10 (95%) support requiring the police to intervene and stop excessive force by other officers and 89% support requiring police to give verbal warning while shooting. Another 76% support requiring states to publicly release disciplinary records for law enforcement and 74% support allowing individuals to sue police officers if they were subjected to excessive force. Around two-thirds (68%) support banning officers from using chokeholds and strangleholds and 52% support banning no-knock warrants.

ignore it if you wish but White privilege has destroyed hundreds of thousands of black lives if not millions and controlled them with whips, chains and ropes....killed children and raped their women who they bought and sold on the legal slave market......white supremacists have looted and burned and attacked innocent people to blemish the integrity of the BLM to the point that BLM protesters have had to shield police officers from white people who were beating them to death.....the looters and arsonists were bused in to start race wars and confront black people...get woke and learn to open your eyes to a generational rising up of a people who've had enough racial profiling and won't take anymore....get woke...here you get the cops called on you if you are bird watching and black.....white people are exercising more ignorance in face of this movement out of pure fear of losing their generational privilege.
