They already tried that with Mike Barrett.

AI? I can't really picture Allen Iverson doing play by play in Portland. Too many MF's per minute in his descriptions.

I won't miss Callabro at all, and I wouldn't miss Hurd, but he doesn't bother me like he did at first

I like the idea of Jordan Kent & Hurd. I think Kent would be really good as the play-by-play

I’m looking forward to Jordan Kent. Never heard him call a game but he’s solid in the studio. Hopefully if he’s good it becomes permanent. Him and Hurd are in the same age range so their chemistry will probably be good as well.

That's a strong call. I feel like he's got a voice and mannerism just made for play by play.

I hope that they'll bring back Barrett. I think he'd be good with Hurd. I do think that it's hard for an organization to step back on something like having let him go in the past though. Hopefully, that won't get in the way. OTOH, if they just want to patch something together for the rest of this season and then make a longer term hire, I'd be in favor of bringing Wheels in to call the games. That's only based on my understanding that the broadcast crew will remain local and working off video rather than being in Orlando. Obviously, Wheels' health wouldn't allow going remote.

Meh. But, yeah, that probably makes sense for him to be the guy. Not a fan though.

No. That would make zero sense. Chad is barely competent as a radio talk show host. Chad doing PBP would be an absolute train wreck.

That's kind of why I think it WOULD make sense. Rather than go back to a competent MB, hire a crappy guy now so that the next one looks good by comparison. ;)

I would've thought the gender reassignment surgery would come first.
