This is just so sad that this country has a president that cannot read a briefing.
Ends up making no difference when it is reported. He doesn't listen or read it anyway.

 

Need to keep in mind that it's Trump, who is a proven liar many times over, that is claiming he didn't know....Why should we believe anything this POS says?

Now I understand why Trump has no memory of being briefed about this. It was an exceptionally busy day. The day John Bolton claims he briefed Trump about Russian bounty on dead Americans, Trump first met with actors playing Lisa Page and Peter Strzok in a pro-Trump theater troupe. They were part of a play that consists mostly of dramatic reading of Page and Strzok's mushy emails to one another. Trump enjoyed this so much the meeting lasted three times longer than originally scheduled. Then he met with Diamond and Silk, who assured him that no president had done more for the African-American community than he had.

With so much important stuff going on, who could be expected to remember a boring briefing about killing Americans?

No. If it were true, which 90% of our intelligence agencies have serious doubts about, having seen no credible evidence of any kind, it would be funding an act of terrorism.

But it's merely a discounted rumor, started internally by the exact same Deep State insurgent in our CIA who then "leaked" this fake news to the NYT and added the lie that the POTUS and VPOTUS had been briefed about it and ignored the threat.
