Back at ya, Hoop...slow smoked brisket, tater salad, fresh picked sweet corn with strips of bacon wrapped around it, home made poot beans, cracklin' bread, and of course, the house wine of the south.

yeah..today I can drive....first day I can...I can't lift over 7 lbs or push or pull things like a lawn mower...shoot a basketball, etc....I'm still 12 days from those activities but I'm bruised like an eggplant...my heart is way better than it was before so my energy is top notch but my wounds are still healing ..I'm bandaged up is all. Other than soreness I feel great! This is nowhere near as debilitating as my hernia surgery...that recovery was two months of hell...this one they don't go through muscle tissue...just two veins to enter the heart....it's pretty slick.

Mine was hiatal. They had trouble because my diaphragm is so thin. Dr said I have the diaphragm of a 70 year old which can't be good. Two months in bed for the most part, liquid diet for most of it. Sucked ass.

I was bed ridden for 6 weeks and sore as hell and weak for another month at least.....and it set my heart back into afib from not excercising over that period...that surgery actually caused me to relapse and have to have my last heart surgery....when it rains it pours..hopefully I'm over any more of that shit
