Last season the Raptors won a title over the Warriors who were missing Durant and Thompson. Does that diminish their title?

That was very limited amateur snark. I can go full on professional snark if you wish?

Agreed. As usual, people go nuts around here with hypotheticals. If a few players get Covid and are lost for the playoffs, that’s no bigger of an impact on the outcome of the title than we see from injuries every year. Health is a part of the game. OTOH, some are worried that if there’s a significant outbreak so that multiple players are eliminated from many teams, that would cheapen the title. I agree with that, but I think that Silver is on record saying that the league would shut down again if there’s a major outbreak. I don’t think it’s likely that a title will be awarded if there’s a significant outbreak so all of the discussion about an asterisk title in that event is probably not a valid concern.

Making the eighth seed via the 8 regular season games, plus the play in, then beating the Lakers in the first round is more than enough it itself the validate the championship should the Blazers win it.

If there is an asterisk it should only be to denote that the Blazers defied all odds and beat some fucking ass doing it.

Pretty much what I think will happen . I think a major outbreak will happen and it will get shut down and we wont have to debate asterisks for years.

You could well be right, but I hope not. I’m not worried about it though. I’m more of a wait and see what happens kind of guy.

I can tell you Carmelo won't be down there playing Frogger. These guys are going to go nuts eventually being in there. Wonder who the first person to get busted for breaking the rules will be....I'm going with JR Smith or Michael Beasley. Brought them back just in time.

We need the addresses to where the players are staying so we can start ordering the players random food deliveries.

The night before we play the Lakers I think Lebron needs a McDonald's Happy Meal at 3am.

    and at 3:30am

    4am

    4:30am

    5am

I say send him a nice chicken breast, cooked to 150 degrees. And maybe a salad with some expired blue cheese dressing.

Something tells me it will be a bigger name. I'm going with Westbrook.

No woman in this bubble? I wonder how many NBA players are gay or bi? This bubble may reveal more than expected.
