The NFL and MLB also have almost all of their licensed merchandise made in China but it doesn't stop at sports leagues. All of the fortune 500 do business in China and most purchase goods and materials from China or Chinese companies, not to mention that over 20% of the fortune 500 are actually Chinese companies. So stop trying to smear the NBA. The world needs to do something about the human rights issues in China but that doesn't start with the NBA. Please get real.

It's sad that we have this kind of mentality still in America. You sound like a true trumper. Your trump is nothing but a bully and racist that has a low iq.

Some folks still struggle to grasp the difference between an "employee" and "property."

Except he wasn't "plastered all over it" There were a few comments on his base, and then a joke or two about sending him somewhere. And then Jon's comment and yours shifted that.

In regards to 0 or 100, if someone says black lives matter, there isn't a middle ground. There isn't stuff getting done in the middle there. It's you agree with that, or you don't. You can't partially agree with someone's life mattering. And if the response is to talk over it with all lives matter, then it is ignoring the message, the statement, and is again not some middle ground to discuss there.
Is there middle ground for discussion on political topics? Of course! We can have differing views on taxes, and military and education, and there's some give and take that can be done on either side, where it isn't 0 or 100.
Is there middle ground on basic human rights? Nope. Many on the right like to laugh at the left for being intolerant of those views, that they're always tolerant until confronted with a statement they don't like. Sorry, if someone is tolerant of a violation of basic human rights they can go fuck right off. There is no room for tolerance in those statements and actions. Or support of them.

Sure in this specific instance. Are you saying Trump doesn't come up to be blamed in almost every thread for everything?

Hell of alot older and annoying than me saying "not happenin"....

And the person I was directing my post to is the #1 Trump basher even when off topic.

My point being is, I made a two word comment about 8 times and this board had members that basically flipped out. Put me on ignore, left the forum, etc.

But someone can be way more annoying by bashing Trump for everything regardless of whether its relevant or not and its just fine and dandy. If you say its annoying, your part of the problem and a Trumper and possibly racist.

So if people can bitch at me for saying not happening, I should be able to bitch that people bash Trump all the time regardless.

What is annoying and what isn't annoying around here is almost as much of a double standards as some of the members that JUST cant admit to being wrong when they are.

So maybe my post had a bit hyperbole based on the specific thread it was in, but by no means is it off based as to this forum as a whole.

You do realize that riverman is leaving this forum and taking a break because of some of your posts and other similar posts. It's also why I post a lot less as well.

See what you posted. You do read what you post, don't you? I sincerely hope you proofread before you post which is what anyone ought to do when making a thoughtful exchange of thoughts

I proofread and then often I still have to go back and edit, just because my impulsivity to be heard is stronger than my desire to accurately articulate what I'm thinking but once I see it posted I again go back to wanting it to be correct. It's a bit of a shit show.
