After coming to terms with veteran free agent forward Joe Smith on a two-year contract, Chicago Bulls general manager John Paxson reiterated his commitment to signing Luol Deng and Ben Gordon to long-term extensions. Both players could command upward of five years and $50 million each in a new deal.Link--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good idea, Paxson knows those players are key to the Bulls team, so he locked them up longer.

Paxson has been waiting for this and he's played everything out just right I think because he knows he can work a deal with them 2, with their current money situation.
