I don't know what it is. I've lost most of my interest in the NBA. I just don't care about it anymore. I can't get into discussing it, watching it, or even playing it. I'm much more into Baseball and Football now. Has anyone else ever gone through this?
Yeah ive gone though this with lacrosse about a year ago. You will get over it. Balla posted something like this recently about him not interested in basketball right now.
Maybe it's because there's not much to discuss right now in basketball. Trust me, when we start getting into October and November and you see the college season kick off and the NBA season start you'll get back into it. I can't wait for the NFL right now but it doesn't take away from my basketball discussion.
Besides the Knicks, I don't give a sh*t about the NBA anymore. It started about two years ago, the NBA is just garbage. Badly run, and it just doesn't appeal to me, Idk what it is. I can't sit down and watch Spurs-Suns even if you paid me to. (even the playoffs too, didn't watch any of it really)...
Geez, I can't imagine what that'd be like. Perhaps you should take a break and come back later? It may be refreshing
I never really went through this phase that many people seem to go through. There have been times that I loved to watch basketball but not discuss it on BBW but usually I can sit down and watch any 2 teams until mid-late regular season when I've seen the Heat and the Cavs on national TV so many times I just don't watch a game with either of them until the playoffs.

If your team isn't contending you have to endure 162 games of suckiness...it's torture.
Ive kind of went through this phase, very lightly though. I mean like the next week I was playing basketball and I couldnt think of not liking this sport. When I think of myself, basketball does come to mind, I like it that much its kind of a part of me.
Here is what happens to me.Over the offseason I always get bored of basketball to an extent and start getting more pumped for football, then college basketball starts and I love both basketball and football.

I could never lose interest in basketball. I'm definitely looking forward to next year. It sucks that we have to wait so long for it to get started. As of now I'm finding other things to do to prevent getting bored.
