80% of the teams are farm teams. Been that way for years! But its still fun to watch, right?

4/80 is going to be a recipe for disaster. I hope they try extending him this off season for something reasonable. Maybe 10M per year....

I know Malik Beasley turned down a contract similar to that and I think he and Gary and somewhat similar in terms of potential...

I think Gary's emergence just gives up more options as far as trades go whether its moving CJ or even moving Gary who is on a great contract and there are a lot of teams that are going to have cap problems and a trade of Gary with the TPE and/or 14 pick could be an attractive option. Keep in mind I like Gary a lot and trading him would need to be for a clear roster upgrade.

It will be interesting to see how he does the rest of this season. Two games in, he's very very good. but that is just two games, big games though.

Who’s the hack that wrote that? That’s definitely not Woj.

Trent is looking like he will be a very good 3 and D guy in this league for a long time. He plays better IMO with Dame and CJ on the floor much as Crabbe did. Dame and CJ are both well above average with creating their own shot and having a guy like Trent spreading the floor helps the team. Like Crabbe, Trent is often left alone in the corners.

The question for me is Little. If they have high hopes for him then having a guy like Trent getting minutes at both SG and SF is a nice scenario moving forward. Especially if Little can play both Forwards spots with his 9'2" wingspan. (Backing up Zach at the 4)

We gotta keep Trent for as long as we possibly can. He’s a ideal 3D guy in this league. He still have some room to improve but as he’s playing right now he’s legit. Due to our salary cap situation, the most I would offer is a 4 year 50 million dollar contract. I feel that’s pretty reasonable. And if he can become a star then he can get more money after that contract. It’s crazy to think he’s only 21

CJ for Kelly Oubre? Not sure the Suns want to deal him and the contracts don't match but I like his game with this team.

Nope like I said there would need to be other pieces to make it work that was just the basis of the deal.

well is there anything you've seen that makes you think he can't keep this level of play up? IMO it seems he's improving and gaining more confidence, nothing is for sure but I feel fairly confident what we are seeing is totally sustainable

I think Trent is the next piece. We got Dame, we got CJ, we got Nurkic, Zach and now Gary Trent Jr
    He's most definitely a keeper

He just has to develop a consistent shot. But again, he needs minutes to do that. Next year i believe he will start making his mark.

That 2018 draft is going to look like an all-timer in a few years. So many great players as well as solid role players in the draft.
