It’s an interesting era in our history. My wife and I were recently out in rural Clackamas County (where the banjos are the loudest) visiting a childhood friend of hers. He is a retired cop and a very proud gay man. Flying proudly on his acreage was a YUGE flag that stated; “Trump In 2020. Fuck Your Feelings.” I’ve known the guy for 46 years and I was totally blown away. I guess he’s more of a cop than a gay man??? Either way, he was completely unapologetic but did note that his neighbors (with whom he is very friendly) have commented that they are grateful they can’t see the flag from their own property. Each to their own, but try as I might (and I really have tried to see both sides) I just don’t understand it. But he has the right to put make statement he chooses to make on his own property and I have to respect that. And too.............things have ALWAYS been different in Lake Oswego. It’s their world and the rest of us are just trashing it up.........
Almost guaranteed to happen. But I have a dog that barks at pretty much everything, even people silently walking down the street a half block up from us. I still move reasonably fast (when I have to) for an old man, and my cuts with a Louisville Slugger still carry weight. Too........I have a “back up“ sign that reads “Flush The Turd November Third” (It tickled my wastewater career sensibilities). So I’m ready either way.......
My neighbor took my first BLM yard sign that we put out there in mid-June... so we came back with 4 (one in each of the 3 garden boxes, 1 in front bedroom window). How you like me now, you Fat Racist Heffer?
Yes, I know it was her. She came home at Beer:30 one Sunday morning, parked in her driveway, walked over to my house and stole my sign, went back to her house, set the alarm on her car, and closed the garage. I know this to be the case, because I have 3 cameras on the front of my house. I'd thought about confronting her, but I figured I'd heavily bait the hook to try to get her to do it again. I moved my cameras to a more advantageous position, too, so that I could blast her all over social media, if she did. Confronting her would be fun, but pissing her off and trying to get her to do it again is even more fun!
Hahaha, good luck! I built them in April, using a design that I'd come up with, after stealing the ideas that I liked most off of the internet. Used a different design in my backyard, using only cedar (no corrugated tin). Tried uploading a picture of them, too, but website keeps telling me the file is too large (even though it's only like 10MB).
I would enlarge this letter and post it in my yard so prospective buyers know what kind of neighborhood they are considering.
0 Some pics of the ones in the backyard. Yard's a wreck because I'm in the process of ripping out the deck & replacing with a brick patio.
