More importantly, it is the difference in standing reach. 9'5" is extremely long. (Nurk is 8'10")

After Whiteside goes it will be Moses Brown's TIME TO SHINE.

Hassan just needs to bring it when he's in. he needs to go hard nonstop. Like Nurk, have faith in your abilities and show you deserve more minutes. Can't be just going through the motions. It's now or never. Play like your life depends on it.

9'1.5" for Nurk per 2013 Eurocamp

Still shy of the elite guys. Most are 9'3" and above (Zach is at 9'3")

He looks so lazy on defense

He was better tonight. More productive and engaged. We need him to be.

He's looked better than Collins honestly.

I’ll give him credit tonight. Played much better off the bench for the most part.
Are they telling him to just sit in the paint of defense? I’m confused on that

As disengaged as Whiteside has looked, Collins has been atrocious these first three games. Hands of stone. Missing multiple bunnies at the rim. Getting bullied by players 6” shorter. Missing wide open 3’s. His defensive rebounding % at a career low. Not sure if this is rust or he’s just lost his confidence. Absolutely not the same player we saw against Denver in the playoffs last season.

Trading CJ and Collins for DeRozan, Aldridge + a #1 pick will give Dame and his Blazers two rings

next year we keep Melo, Ariza, Trent and Whiteside

    Dame, Simons, Adams
    DeRozan, Trent, Hoard
    Melo, Ariza, Hood
    Aldridge, Draftpick
    Nurkic, Whiteside, Moses

so many combos as DeRozan can play 3, Melo can play 4, etc.

this is superior over CJ + Collins imho

I mean, he has always been like this on offense. He's also been moving very well on defense, his opposing shooting % at the rim is really good when he's not fouling. He just hasn't really improved as a player. On this team though, in his role, he's giving us mostly what we need from him as a low usage starter. He's never going to shoot much with Dame/CJ/Melo on the floor, he just needs to hit a few open 3s.

Collins will be fine. He's barely played this year. Just needs a little time to get comfortable.
