Because no one though Giannis would be this good.

I wonder if it might be worth it to try the gimmick defense the Blazers use on Harden on Doncic. They operate somewhat similarly, just try to get the ball out of their hands and live with the results.

I would expect that. Problem is they don't have Westbrook on their team.

I think they shoot better than Houston too.

Also, I'd expect a Carlile coached team to counter that move fairly effectively

2 weeks ago, I copied and pasted the game schedule. Today's Dallas game was to be at 2:00 Pacific Time. For the last hour I raced to finish tasks. At game time, I find no game on. What? I check, it says 3:30. Fuck, I compressed activities for nothing and this changes my whole day's schedule. Did they change the time? I look it up.

    They only changed it yesterday!

HCP posted a couple days ago that the game had been moved to be on TNT.

I may mess this up but winning percentage possibilities:

.479 - Memphis wins both remaining games
.474 - Portland wins both remaining games
.466 - Memphis splits remaining games (Memphis wins tiebreaker with Phoenix)
.466 - Phoenix wins today (Philly) and beats Dallas Thursday
.465 - San Antonio beats Utah Thursday
.459 - Portland splits remaining games
.458 - Phoenix splits remaining games
    .450 - Spurs lose Thursday

pretty clear that the Blazers need to win both games. Too many possibilities of Portland ending up 10th seed if they lose one. Suns up 6 right now; Grizz down 15

Rick Carlisle coaches circles around Terry, and is a wizard with tactical adjustments. And Dallas is a much better shooting team than Houston. This isn't gonna be Jeff Green hitting the side of the backboard.

They aren't that much better than Houston.

They are 1 and 2 in the league in terms of makes/attempts though.

Houston shoots more at a slightly lower clip, so it's about even.

perhaps, but we've historically been burned by them. maybe it's worth a shot, but i would vary our defense a lot a show luka a lot of coverages.

that picture doesn't talk about all the way Portland finishes 10th, and there are a few. I think Portland probably misses the playoffs if they don't win both games

So glad I made it home on time. These start times are brutal even for me, 3 hrs ahead. Definitely prefer this to the 2 AM finishes though, so can't complain too much.

How are you all managing to watch these games at 330pm local?
