40 some percent less viewers than 2016 I heard on the radio. Pretty big drop.

At this point if you are still waiting for a compelling argument to make up your mind then you haven't been paying attention.

TV viewership is like landline phone use.....people watch on the internet more than on TV these days ...I don't think we need conventions now...I'm ready to vote today

Got it. Apparently, nobody wants to watch your candidate's attempts at a unifying message. But it doesn't matter.

I've watched a lot of them....you should be embarrassed by how many intelligent speakers are cleaning Trump's clock...fact is people already know who Trump is...we're all done with him. You can hang onto the liar's coattails everyday until he's booted out of office because that's what's about to happen. Buckle up....

There's a whole community of bright people, professionals and ex presidents and first ladies making a solid case for unity and calling out Trump's divisive ways....Trump thinks 60 percent of Americans are the enemy.....you should be embarrassed as hell to show support for such a lost cause. Ya got nothin' dude......wake up...people with confidence don't need a safe political space ..they can handle the truth about Trump

The convention wasn't aired at the same time as AGT.

    upload_2020-8-19_17-40-15.png

In the time slot it was aired it did get more viewers than AGT.

On the internet you can watch each speech anytime you want...time doesn't factor into news coverage anymore but I forget your internet sucks...this might be why you have to go to bed and miss the show!

I watched/listened to it at work today. My confidence in the United States is at an all-time low. I know for everyone (including myself) that confirmation bias plays a huge role in how we intake information, but this country is screwed. Which might not ultimately be a bad thing I guess.
I have some staunch (stubborn lol) views of the Democrat and Republican parties, and most years I know my 'candidate' has no chance, but I find reasons to be like ok this person might do some good stuff as president or a representative of the US, but the last two elections. Just feel hopeless. The convention at least the portions that I listened to didn't really inspire much confidence... Maybe at my age I'm just a lost cause though, I've entrenched my own positions to the point I can't see past my nose.
