Lakers will be out for blood. Blazers can't get into the "split on the road" mentality. They need to be totally focused.

Why would they come out hot? They've played badly all bubble and there is no home crowd to get them going. If they were capable of getting hot, they would've done it last game.

Skal isn't on the team, he was traded, and for the bubble, Ariza isn't on it either. Might be that Ariza has played his last game as a Blazer. I don't count either of those guys

It's too bad, as Ariza is the one guy out of those 5 that I believe could have really made a difference.

I’m expecting LeBron to try to take on more of the scoring. If he had competent teammates, he’d have had 25 assists. Green is capable of getting hot and so is Kuzma, but I don’t expect James to allow them many misses before he starts calling his own number.

    Are you a Lakers fan?

Skal probably isn't traded away for cash if he isn't hurt. Ariza opted out like Bradley, my point was we are onto 6th options at forwards this year and still beat LAL so I don't want to hear Lakers fans shit excuses for Bradley opting out which there are already rumblings of.

Even if the NBA allowed Ariza now, he wouldn't be out of quarantine in time to play in this series

I've hammered all the laker excuses today, over and over

basically, it's excuses why their team isn't better than it is. Same goes for the Blazer excuses why the team isn't better. Excuse is excuse. It's extremely rare for a team to be 100% healthy for the playoffs. Having injured players is rather unremarkable

all these guys are injured and not playing, as of this point:

    Rajon Rondo (LAL)
    Patrick Beverly (LAC)
    Will Barton (Den)
    Gary Harris (Den)
    Russell Westbrook (Hou)
    Luguentz Dort (OKC)
    Bojan Bogdanovich (Utah)
    Mike Conley (Utah)
    Ed Davis (Utah)
    Jalen Brunson (Dal)
    Trey Burke (Dal)
    Willy Cauley-Stein (Dal)
    Courtney Lee (Dal)
    Dwight Powell (Dal)
    Zach Collins (Por)
    Rodney Hood (Por)

not going to bother with the Eastern C

I didn't bother listing injured guys who aren't in rotations like Nasir Little. And, Bradley & Ariza aren't injured...they cancel

again, it's part of the playoff picture every year. And sometimes it has a big impact, like when Duncan got injured for the Spurs or Durant & Curry got hurt for the Warriors

I like our chances of a sweep even if we lose Game 2!

Does Ariza get a ring if we win the championship? How about Swanigan?

They do it in baseball all the time.

There's probably a cut off date or something, again, like baseball.

If we actually play defense (like Nurk, Whiteside??!! and GTJr) then it is a complete circle.
