Game day! Let's get this 'W' (and possibly 14 more) for Paul Allen & Harry Glickman!

    LET'S GO, BLAZERS!

this isn't the sign of a confident team. we really need to take advantage tonight.

Yeah they don't have good options.

Lets say they move Davis to center. He doesn't want to band inside against our bigs extended minutes of the game. They also don't have guard depth. Then they can only play one of McGee/Dwight, and the other one will be very unhappy to get DNP. When they trap Lillard with Davis, they would need Kuzma to protect the rim? That will really open up the floor for us on offense. They don't have experience playing any games with the bulk of Davis minutes at center, they'd be having to test entirely new rotations in the middle of the playoffs.

If they stick with their current lineup the middle is clogged. They don't have spacing. They are allowing us to play Nurk and Whiteside to their strengths.

They have lost one game and you already hear excuses, complaining, players not happy with roles, players unhappy with minutes, shifting the blame to shooters and others. They sound like a mentally weak team.

I think if we win tonight the Lakers will give up. They will know this isn't their year. They thought they were title favorites, they had the two best players in the series. Now they don't have any of that, and its only the very start of round 1.

It was title or bust for them this year. They know four rounds are much harder that this first round, and while we are great for an 8th seed, we are nowhere near a top title favorite in the league. All of the future rounds will be against more difficult more complete teams. All the future opponents will have better defense, and they only scored 93 points on us.

If the Lakers can't win a title, do they want to go through all the effort of additional weeks fighting in the bubble? Many on their team won't. Even Lebron is complaining how difficult the bubble is. Would they prefer to go back to their mansions in LA and work on movies, use excuses that their loss is from the pandemic? Beat them tonight and the pressure, negativity, inflated egos, blaming of others, desire to leave the bubble, excuses will pile on for the purple and piss. They are mentally weak.

Dame could use the rest of an easy series win. CJ could use the time to heal up. Lets stomp on their throats tonight! Win tonight and the Lakers will fold!

    Go Blazers!

One for me and one for Lucia!

Thanks for the offer, maybe some other time. Not during pandemic. I'd even bring cookies.

OK, old man yelling at clouds time! What is it with guys like AD or LMA flinching away from playing center? It isn't because of any physical short-comings on their part - which rather implies it is psychological.

I can understand not wanting to do it full time for all of 82 games. Tim Duncan didn't either. But they need to be able to do it for extended stretches. LMA would actually do its for extended minutes of games in the regular season. He was much more tough player than AD.

The series is played one game at a time. The only thing that matters right now is this game. Go get it Blazers!

Davis has been injured multiple times playing center. He doesn't like it because he gets sprained ankles and he gets banged on. Ticky Tac injuries that add up. Sore Knee, Sore Ribs, Sore Elbow and so on....

I’d be shocked if Portland didn’t have serious foul troubles in this one. You think the league is gonna let Wenyen Gabriel clamp AD again? It’s 8 on 5 tonight.

If not this game...most certainly the next. You can count on LBJ becoming unglued at the refs if they go down 0-2. But to fair...all superstars do it.
