The Celtics may have the most championships but over the last 20 years they have done very little, while the lakers have made a finals in every decade, and the Bulls have made the finals under two different leaders(Jordan,Gilmore). What are the top 5 greatest franchises?1.Lakers2.Celtics3.Bulls4.76ers5.Blazers

doesn't that last 20 years go into consideration when your picking greatest franchise? The lakers have been good in every era and like I said, they have yet to go a decade without making a finals appearance unlike the celtics.

Boston CelticsLos Angeles LakersChicago BullsPhiladelphia 76ersNew York KnicksDespite New York never having a dynamite dynasty, they still have had a good share of legendary players such as Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, Jerry Lucas, and Bernard King. Also, they play in Madison Square Garden which has become labeled the 'Mecca of Basketball'.

Lakers (Primetime is right, the Lakers are the most consistant franchise in Sports)Celtics (They were only really great in the 60's, in the 80's they were good but, not the best)BullsPhiladelphia (despite their hard times, they still have one of the riches histories in the NBA)Spurs (I think they are now in the mix)
