has anybody found video of the injury? or is it because it's a stress reaction it's a cumulative injury?
ZACH COLLINS TO MISS REMAINDER OF 2020 PLAYOFFS PORTLAND, Ore. (August 21, 2020)–Further imaging shows Portland forward Zach Collins with a hairline medial malleolus stress fracture of his left ankle, it was announced today by Trail Blazers president of basketball operations Neil Olshey. The injury will require surgery to repair. A date for surgery is to be determined. Collins will miss the remainder of the postseason. Collins, 22, appeared in 11 games (all starts) for the Trail Blazers this season, posting averages of 7.0 points (47.1% FG, 36.8% 3-PT, 75.0% FT), 6.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.45 blocks.
We can turn this into a positive. First I feel they are making the right decision. This surgery is recommended for that injury and it prevents further injury. Also he will be done and back available for training camp if and when that happens for next season. Then they will give Gabriel lots of run in this series and any more if the Blazers happen to win it.
This is concerning. He's effectively had two season-ending injuries this year, and both times, it's not particularly obvious that anything happened. Routine movements with no major impact shouldn't result in surgery.
The worst part is our idiot GM will probably give him big contract. He is useless. And made out of glass. Get rid of him
huh? Hill was a 4 year starter at Duke IIRC ok....maybe you're saying Hill spent the first 10 years in college and the NBA being really healthy, then fell apart?
So you're saying Hill wasn't injury prone and didn't have any major issues with injuries during his career?
