The lack of showing the NBA and NHL is really sad on ESPN right now. Granted its the off-season for both, but during the playoffs it was horrific. Now with baseball season, all we see is Michael VIck and other Benoit bullsh**. You have to wait like 45 minutes on Sportscenter to actually see highlights other then the Yankees who always lead off the show. I'm sick of them, I really am. ExclusivelyStienbrienersPublicityNetworkPlus, they have the stupidest analysts in the world. Chris Berman, Stephen A. Smith, all of them are terrible. They only have maybe one decent analyst per sport.MLB - KrukNBA - LeglerNFL - Jackonand they only have one NHL analyst [IMG]

I've always seen him more of an insider as an analyst
I know exactly what you mean
Did you watch the HR derby? He said the phrase "Back, back, back...." like forty times in the first round [IMG] I hate how they are trying to become the Ghetto Nigga network with Stuart Scott and Stephen A. Smith. They are trying so hard to be contemporary. They don't need to become gangster to be now. Speaking of now, who wants to kill everyone with 'Who's Now?'. Why do they feel the need to introduce wtf it is everytime they start.

They have some good baseball analysts.Kruk, Gammons, Hershiser, and Kurkjian I like. Only one I can't stand is Steve Phillips.

I actually think Steve Phillips is decent. Most of their baseball guys except the guys you mentioned suck however. I love Baseball tonight, but they need Harold Reynolds back!! I'm talking about the Sportscenter they show about 12 times from 11PM to Noon every single day and the six PM show. Its stupid. Their coverage of the individual sports is good, but I don't want to see SAS talking about baseball out of his ass.

They have 3 black people on staff I can recall out of at least 150 analysts. God forbid they have a black analyst when 75% of major sports involves black people.

Are you saying ESPN is racist? Maybe if your black boys would become half decent analysts they would have more on there...

Your calling it a ''ghetto nigga'' network because they have several black people as analysts. Being a good analyst is a matter of opinion but by no means is espn ''ghetto''.

Without Steven A. and Stuart Scott, ESPN would be boring. They bring energy and 'color' (for lack of a better word, not the race) to the network, and if ya'll think they're too ignorant to be on there then don't watch.

I can't say that Stephen A. Smith is there because of his thoughtful insights... its because black people will listen to a preacher.

Stephen Smith is a dickhead blowhard that seldom knows what he's talking about, but at least he always acts sure. He's too obnoxious and can't admit when he's wrong.Stuart Scott has a very distinctive style. He's unapologetically hip-hop, not gangster or ghetto. He's cool with me because he seems very objective and intelligent.Chris Berman kills me during football season. He's kind of hip hop too when he's breaking down the football games with music in the background. And he's got the best signature phrase in pro sports talk on touchdowns. "He...could...go...all..the..way!"

If the Raptors werent in the playoffs, next season Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment (who own the Raptors) would air at least 40 games on their TV channel, which is not local by the way and costs money.

I don't watch alot of ESPN until the basketball season starts. I watch some NFL but when the NBA begins, I find myself on channel 140 alot. As for the analyst's, I don't see the big difference between Ernie, Kenny, and Charles or Stephen A. Smith, Tim Legler, and (insert guest analyst here).

Ernie, Kenny, and Charles are alot more entertaining but sometimes they get so caught up in calling Barkley fat that they completely forget about analyzing the game.

You guys complain about the bad analysts and sh*t...atleast you actually get to see NBA highlights and listen to people talking about the NBA and NFL...I woulnd't care if it was the Cookie Monster, as long as someone would finally start talking about the NBA here in Canada. It's all hockey...makes me sick to my stomach..
