I remember when I was a kid I had no ac and I would sweat balls. I used to look like a kid who just finished a race with a leopard in africa with how much I would sweat.

How far are you?Chandler, AZ is 5 degrees warmer than Las Vegas with 11% more humidity. I'm enjoying the 77 degree weather in Tustin because tomorrow it'll be almost 40 degrees warmer.</div>Tustin is about an hour away. That's by Irvine, right?

What about Downey?</div>Downey is about an hour or so too. I don't go around there much so I don't know that area too well. I live in Burbank which is in the valley.

My great uncle who lives in your area didn't have AC when I was there 6 days ago and without a fan it was still comfortable. With a fan it was pretty chilly.</div>After a while you just get used to the heat and it doesn't bother you as much...The only thing that affects how hard it is to handle is the humidity. In Palm Desert it can be about 80 degrees at night...
I love my air conditioning but I currently don't have the AC on. It's a good 28?C degrees here(82 degrees Fahrenheit) and it's HOT!
It's 62 degrees out right now and this is probably going to be the high for the day. Doesn't help when you live 10 blocks away from the Pacific Ocean...
I have AC, I love AC, I need AC.My friend doesn't and his dad's job is to install them. I sweat waking up without it.
You can afford internet but not an AC.... wtf I didnt have an AC in the summer I wouldnt be able to live or never be inside in the summer at a forum ever
We can afford the actual unit, but running it would run up the electric bill like crazy. The AC takes up more power to run than a computer.
The Captain, just remember the blackout we had a few years ago when we were out of power here for about 5 days... in the beginning of August.
That was terrible. No electricity for multiple days. Luckily we had the generator for the essentials. (Fridge, toilet, water, etc). Not to mention not having any fans. Ugh.
