Keep working. Get some more depth in your BG's. Darken up the edges a bit. Just try to experiment different things. Your getting lots better.

its alright, text is bad, looks like you did an outer glow, which is a big no-no. Add a lil more depth by adding more stuff in the bg and a levels adjustment
