I have definitely had tons of sports injuries, sprains, torn muscles, knee's, bones... It could just be swelling keeping him from straightening out his knee. I hope it is, and I really hope that we don't see him play again until next season.
Here’s the thing, I don’t know any details at all, but it’s not like he was going to play anytime soon anyway right? Who cares where he rehabs?
They did say the MRI machine was kinda trash in Orlando, may as well come home to a real hospital to get it done. He probably sees the writing on the wall anyway, if LeBron strikes, the league will follow.
Meh. The 2nd MRI was plenty. It said sprain im sure it’s a sprain. Again they checked twice. That’s plenty. My theory is, since this news came out literally right after the players and league boycotted, Lillard knows the season is over so there’s no point to be there no more..
The word "sprain" means nothing, medically. Any ACL or MCL injury can be termed a sprain or tear (because sprains are also tears)--casually, people tend to call lesser ones "sprains" but there's nothing official about that. Until a grade is identified, we haven't gotten any real information on the severity. The useful information is that it's the MCL and not the ACL. The MCL is generally much less of a problem. I'm not a doctor, but this is what I've seen doctors say over the years.
I just find it highly a coincidence that he dips out the bubble literally right after the reports came Lebron and some of the key guys want the season done. I’m sure Dame being a key guy himself knows the inevitable is here
I agree with you on this. My gut feeling is this season has just ended. Combination of things going on here.
His fiance just posted a pic of Dame and his son together on a private jet, leaving the bubble. Happy for that reuinion, but sad for the team and the implications for his injury. Hope they don't find anything serious in the re-evaluation.
