The one that got injured in that accident? The last I saw of him, he was with the Nets for a bit. Right now, I think he is still a free agent.
Yeah he's done; he was cut by an NBDL team last year. Last I've heard was that he started a sports agency and has a couple of clients.I still remember how pissed I was when I heard about his accident on the local radio station.
Horrible story, you put all this effort into making the NBA. Finally enter the NBA with some hype then get injured in an accident and all your previous physical ability has gone down the drain. If that was me, it would kill me for the rest of my life.
Look at Ben Roelithsburger. Who knows if he'll ever be back to the shape he was in when they won their superbowl?2004 Pittsburgh Steelers 14 13 295 196 66.4 2621 8.88 58 17 11 30/213 43 7 98.12005 Pittsburgh Steelers 12 12 268 168 62.7 2385 8.90 85 17 9 23/129 35 12 98.62006 Pittsburgh Steelers 15 15 469 280 59.7 3513 7.49 67 18 23 46/280 42 7 75.4The guy obviously doesn't have the vision he had before, and it showed. My Ravens ate him up this year, I actually hope he doesn't get back into old shape because that's bad news for us.
I remember Jay Williams, he was on pace to be something special, he was sort of like Kidd is his amazing ability to grab rebounds for a smaller posistion (PG) and I remeber he was quite a guy who you could count on to get near a triple double
It's a sad story what happened to Williams. One moment he's in the fast lane getting to the NBA by getting drafted 2nd overall. Then he gets in a motorcycle accident and then after recovering and everything and finally makes it back to the NBA via the Nets only to get cut from that team. And then he gets cut from the D-League team. I really feel bad for what happened to this guy.

Jay Williams was my guy, he was easily one of my favorite players. I saw that he was cut by an NBDL team last year too, like Thabo said, but I also read that he's still interested about making a comeback, he just wasn't ready at the time.Thabo, do you have any links or anything about him starting that sports agency?
He had a ton of potential, couldve been an all star no doubt about it. I never knew he got cut by a NBDL team, I was hoping we would see his return eventually but I guess not.
