PFF, you're just jealous. One of the player's jobs is to make the fans happy.. Signing autographs is what makes fans happy... The fans literally pay their salary.

If I were in there posistion I wouldn't want it either. What are the players gonna do? Say, I can't accept 10 million dollars because I won't sign autographs

Why you feel the need to post in every topic even if you are clueless about it is really beyond me.Most athletes only get "hounded" (which is a ridiculous word to use here) at the arena/ballpark/track/course...whatever you wanna call it. Or at the team hotel when they go in or leave. Or finally they go to autograph shows where they get paid to sign and spend hours there doing it. Most players aren't too bothered outside of those areas cause people do understand what the word "privacy" means...its the media thats always hounding these stars in other places cause they are looking for any type of story on them. Anyway, its the right of the player to just politely say no and move on, which many of them do. It doesn't make them a bad person at all and it's understandable that they may not want to sign. In everything I've read or seen in person, I've never seen an athlete get pissed off about autograph seekers, they just politely say "not today" or just wave and walk away. But from all the experiences I have, the players feel it is an honor to sign autographs for people and they feel great that someone would take the time to ask them for a signature. They love taking time to sign and talk with us cause they understand that we are the ones that help pay their salaries and let them make millions. Maybe if you had gotten to experience times like this you'd actually understand autograph collecting and how athletes treat the subject.

NYKfan, I'd be surprised if you could even make the freshman girl's basketball team at your school. You obviously have no idea what it's like to be an athlete

I would rather be hated for what I am.

I am who I am, I'm honest. You're the fakest b*tch on this site, same with all the other members who never post anything real, and I could list over a 100 right now. That's why I like S2S, at least he was real

By the way, I'm well past high school kid...you'd see that if you opened up my profile. Also....I'm sure you have no clue what it's like to be an athlete, so stop trying to pretend to be one. I have met hundreds of athletes in my time so I think I can put some input into this topic, as opposed to you. When you meet 5% of the total players I have met in my lifetime, give me a call and we'll talk autographs and athletes opinions on them. Until then, go find a topic on this site where maybe you can actually put some useful posts into.

Just because you met 'em doesn't mean you know 'em. They have to comply, but I'm sure it's one of the last things they wann do for most of 'em
