Nah. It’s already rigged for Lakers vs Clippers. Then Boston vs LA.

    Here's my issue with that:

You're allowing a team who is breaking a rule to decide if they prefer the guy they fouled to shot a FT or not. Why should a team be rewarded for breaking a rule? If they were worried about not being in the penalty, they had 1:55 to commit a foul so they wouldn't be in that position, but then they would have to risk the next non-shooting foul being 2 FTs.

i swear we ran a similar play at the end there a few year back. Even meyers leonard read it well and dove to the rim for a dunk to force OT.

in the current scenario, they are being penalized for playing good D for ten of the first 12 mins of the quarter and not fouling.

But they had every opportunity to be a different situation and made a choice not to.

In your scenario, why should a team get to choose if it's a bonus situation only in the last two minutes? Why not do it the whole game if you think not being able to choose is a defensive teams right.

This is some Jeff Van Gundy shit man. I'm not saying it's stupid or anything it's just funny when situationally people decide rules should be changed and those people like JVG usually want a ton of rule changes. It's just really hilarious to me, it makes me enjoy JVG's commentary more actually. If I had my way the game would stay just how it is and teams would just have to learn to play around it... I'm not saying I'm some purist that thinks we should go back to having no three pointers or anything I just think that a team should either be in the penalty or bonus (depending on which team's perspective) or they shouldn't be, the time of the game shouldn't have anything to do with it. I actually don't even love the last two minutes thing too much but whatever, the rule is there. For what it's worth I do have a little Van Gundy in me too, I don't think there should be any defensive three seconds or illegal defense, teams should be able to play zone if they want to. I do however support offensive three in the key violations.

Did anybody else see the replay on the out of bounds play with about 15 seconds to go in the Heat game clearly showing Butler stepping completely out of bounds before he tossed it back to his basket where it was caught by Lopez and he then scored?

Should have been out of bounds..no basket...Bucks ball.

    How did nobody see that??

I'd link it if I could lol.

Dude has been all soccer for the last several years, this is really out of the blue.

Nash could be the next Steve Kerr or the next Ty Lue. We'll see.

Gonna need a strong associate coach like Gentry... Nash/Vaughn seems like a bad mix.

why do you want to change so many established rules that are never an actual problem?
This and extra fouls in OT are ridiculous
