The Yanx' recent respectable good play and Cashman's "pep talk"....?

Whatever the reason, it's good to see that the players actually seem to really care.

Cant' imagine Cshman being Sergeant Rock taking names, kicking ass, and yanking knots in peoples tales. Did see some media rreports that Boners butt may have been on the hot seat and Sanchez being a Clubhouse Cancer and possibly en route to a one way trip out. I'd believe that Boner does not have the correct control over the team. The players yes may succeed in spite of all the BS going around but many of them have sme act cleaning as the season tails to the end.

I know the trade deadline has passed but I'd love to see the Yanx jettison Sanchez and make a deal to acquire Realmuto, who has been rumored to be on the block.

I bet Trashman gives Sanchez a pass, Boner too, just watch, he's going to say:
'well it was a weird short season, in which no one could find their groove'.
and- "Sanchez will come back stronger than ever next year", just like BaBoone saying early last year how
"hot Stanton was going to get and carry the entire team on his back", which we all know never happened and never will.
Great thing about Billy Martin, is he'd never stand for these prima donnas underperforming, never!!! Billy would say:

"either they go, Or I go"...

Martin pretty much walked his post from flank to flank and took no shit from any rank. Until late August of '77 I was still in Germany and Armed Forces Network was lame on the baseball highlights but artins takedown of Reggie Jax sure hit the highlights. Martin once quoted he was a manager but a man as well.

short season or not, can't see Sanchez getting a pass. stuck with him for 2020, but would be surprised to see him in 2021. not a fan of boone's leadership style...helps to know how to lead.
