I picked that game just because it’s current. If you’ve read the board lately, you’ll see that my position on Zach is that the jury is out on him. He’s going to be on a contract year and has to prove he deserves to be a starter for the Blazers. If he doesn’t show that then they have to view him as a backup in what they think about offering him in the way of an extension. He’s certainly going to be an NBA player, but it’s yet to be determined whether that’s starter or journeyman. Saying he’s horrible is ridiculous.
If Zach could catch a ball, make putbacks, add any post moves, grab rebounds instead of tipping it constantly, and not commit dumb fouls consistently... he would be a nice little bench piece like a Morris twin. I hope he can change those things, but I ain’t gonna hold my breath.
It will be a nice debate at the end of both their careers who was the better pick Leonard or Collins?
