A reporter asked Trump why he said nothing to commemorate the milestone of 200,000 dead Americans. He turned away and asked assembled media if anyone else had a question.

I think politifact is wrong, or at least they have somehow arrived at some kind of hair-spitting conclusion about what trump was babbling about

he actually did suggest injection of disinfectant:

Trump contemplated aloud if injecting ourselves with disinfectant to combat Covid - 19 was feasible. He was not being sarcastic. Trump wouldn't know sarcasm if it bit him in his fat ass.

I'm surprised that post triggered you so much... There was nothing about it being a hoax or the death toll.

I, for one, am glad for Hail's post. It's applicable to the corona-virus and how society is handling it. It's important to hear/see all sides of an issue instead of just being in an echo chamber all day.

I'm not sure there are any 'sides' to this story. Health authorities all across the nation are under heavy burden now. Understaffed and limited budgets. The county reported some Covid-like symptoms to the state on the death certificate; the state classified accordingly. The victim died in July and it took till the end of September to get any solid analysis, and even then, it was just a statement it wasn't Covid from the CDC

New York CANCELS New Year's Eve: World famous Times Square bash is canned for first time in 114 years amid COVID-19 fears - with celebrations replaced by 'virtual event' on app
    • New York's Times Square New Year's Eve ball drop will be virtual this year to accommodate for living under the pandemic
    • Times Square will be cordoned off by the NYPD on December 31st
    • The event is co-produced by the Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment
    • Jamestown, which owns One Times Square, have built a virtual world of Times Square and an app to broadcast the New Year's Eve Ball drop
    • While news and past events are highlighted during the celebration, organizers are looking to not linger on COVID and racial tension
