Re: Your Cities "Mount Rushmore of Sports" Who would you include in a four person statue to honor your cities sports?Detroit:-Steve Yzerman-Joe Louis-Isiah Thomas-Ty Cobb, Al Kaline, or Barry Sanders
Re: Your Cities "Mount Rushmore of Sports" I'm just assuming it doesn't have to be from the four major sports...Here's San Francisco's:- Barry Bonds / Willie Mays- Joe Montana- Jerry Rice- Steve Young

Charles Barkley could be but I'm not a big fan. Can't be Curt Schilling either...Oh I know...Frank Kush! Possibly Winkles or Brock from ASU baseball...Oh whatever, go ahead and put Olson. It'll be Sendek soon enough.
Re: Your Cities "Mount Rushmore of Sports" I'm sorry, but Charles Barkley would be 1st on the list. Like him or not he WAS Phoenix/Arizona sports when he was here.
Re: Your Cities "Mount Rushmore of Sports" Jerry Colangelo will always be #1. There would be no Suns without him, there would be no Diamondbacks and our 1st pro championship without him. We would not have one of the top AFL franchises without him. There would be no spring training baseball here and the city wouldn't be near as big as it is now without his projects. He made Phoenix. Randy Johnson played more years here than Barkley, he won many Cy Youngs, was the World Series MVP in the state's only pro championship...I'd put him ahead. Barkley at #3 if anything. No one will ever touch Jerry Colangelo unless we get a Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth or Joe Montana that leads one of the teams to multiple championships and win multiple MVP's. If it makes you feel better, I know it will make me feel better taking out Olson:Jerry ColangeloRandy JohnsonCharles BarkleySteve Nash
Re: Your Cities "Mount Rushmore of Sports" Cleveland:- LeBron James- Jim Brown- Cy Young (didn't finish his career there though)- Otto Graham
Re: Your Cities "Mount Rushmore of Sports" Wow, I dont know to tell u the truth. I know Dan Marino and Don Shula would definitely be up there, probably Dwyane Wade too. I'd put:-Don Shula-Dan Marino-Dwyane Wade-Bob GriesieI guess that would be it. Ours would probbly be all football tho, I just like Wade too much

My list would be JC, Barkley, Johnson & Nash. Olsen can stay down in Tuscon!

First guys that popped into my head were Russell, Williams, and Bird. I'd take Brady over Yaz though.
