Hopefully Coyle will pan out and the Rangers can salvage something from the terrible medal chucker pick. Sign Matt Martin to teach him the ropes and protect the youth investment.

I guess they see enough in the goalie they took to think maybe he could eventually be flipped for a 2nd rounder or something. See what sticks out of the 23 goalies they have now. I still hate that Lindbom pick a few years ago.

I think Berard is the son of Bryan as he's from Rhode Island too.

I can't remember the last time the organization drafted 3 Canadian players who all hit consistently with it's first 3 picks. I'm not sure it's ever happened. As expected, I knew TDA was going to be a cock with contract talks. Sell high on him now while you have a chance.

Anybody think Schneider has a chance to crack the lineup this season?

No way. You won't see him until he's 20 at least. I think they bring Lundkvist over if they can.

They will probably pick up or trade for a vet on the last year of their deal. I hope to God they don't go with Smith. Our stubborn coach needs that toy taken away from him. He fucking sucks.

“My situation with the Rangers wasn’t the best,” he said. “So, I was hoping to get traded here to another organization. When that happened, it was kind of a relief feeling. As I said, I’m just super happy right now. And I don’t even really know what to say – just that I’m very happy and excited.”

Good luck, Lias. I suspect you're going to need it.

Translation. I thought Quinn was a cocksucker when I outplayed Howden all pre-season and he put me on a lower line. I should have handled other things better but that didn't change the fact that the coach there is a dickhead.

Lias was an entitled whiny b*tch who needs to get some balls and play hockey. I am happy he is gone, and most of us knew this was the case and he would never play for the Rangers again.

And BTW, even if your Quinn point has merit, the answer is not whine and cry, be a malcontent, and bail on your team. So no matter what Lias was an entitled b*tch and needed to go.

I'll be surprised if he ever plays much for the Kings. Maybe he gets some games next year since they're awful but i don't think he lasts too long. His father being a scout there may buy him some time.

I'll just state it plainly. I have seen you in here during your political rants talking about whiny people, and people should take accountability. If that doesn't sum up Lias I don't know what does. This is about one thing only, you were very wrong on Lias and need an excuse instead of simply saying you were wrong. Nothing more, nothing less. That's it.

And BTW, everybody is wrong on things, so no shame with that, just say it and move on instead of blaming Quinn for the whiny, entitled, malcontent Lias.

I'm not ready to write him off. I think he has talent, he just has to get his head on straight and mature. With that said, do I think he becomes a top player or 7th pick worthy, doubtful, but I think he can be a 3rd line type guy and have a solid career. He also may never pan out, who knows, but I wouldn't fully write him off yet.

Lias should flourish on the Kings. Quinn fucked him over. Fact. Lias turned into a mental case and didn't know how to handle it. Either way, let's pray the guy they took with the second rounder actually turns out to be something.

Yeah i mean he has top 40 in the draft type of ability so you'd think if he can't at least be a good 3rd/4th liner then something went terribly wrong upstairs. LA could actually be a good spot with their situation plus his father in the org.
