As the post mentioned, the joke is that the Nuggets didn't include Melo on their graphic, so the Blazers were subtly calling them out on that.

    gotcha

of course, Melo forced his way out of Denver, and how a player leaves a team needs to be part of the equation....probably?

Pacers Hire Nate Bjorkgren As Head Coach
12:42pm: The Pacers have made it official, announcing the hire of Bjorkgren in a press release.[IMG]

“We are very pleased and excited to have Nate as our new coach,” Pacers president of basketball operations Kevin Pritchard said in a statement. “This was an extensive and thorough search, and when we reached the conclusion, we felt strongly Nate is the right coach for us at the right time. He comes from a winning background, has experienced championship success, is innovative and his communication skills along with his positivity are tremendous. We all look forward to a long, successful partnership in helping the Pacers move forward.”https://www.hoopsrumors.com/

I think the Hornets will just have to live with that contract but it's not a donation, just a bad personnel decision... yikes.

What were the basics of the trade? I don't mean to commit heresy as a lifelong fan of our Portland Trail Blazers but I really admire and root for MJ as an executive and owner in this league. I'd love for him to get a player like CP3 and enjoy a little success... obviously not if it ever came at our expense.

it was CP3 to the clips, batum and the clips macgruder to OKC, lou williams, harrell S&T, beverly charlotte. easily expandable with charlotte flipping williams for other assets.

That's a good idea. I always thought there should be some credit on passes leading to FTs as well. half an assist per FT made or something. I know there are more in depth points added stats, but for the casual fan...

In Europe if player makes at least one free throw it counts as an assist.

Same old Same old. This league needs to start injecting some fresh blood on the coaching front.

My guess is that D'antoni to the Pacers was just a rumor from his agent to drum up demand. Do not think he was ever a real candidate.

KP has done well (not great) with the Pacers and I like this hire.
