Watched quite a few Stanford games last year (for some reason). Terry has something about him, definitely that 'it' factor offensively. Just not sure how he develops physically, but no reason not to believe he wont get stronger/faster. Such a knack for scoring, the CJ comp doesnt surprise me. As a FA pickup i would be interested in Myles Powell, as a backup PG/SG from Seton Hall. That dude can play and score the ball thats for sure. Saw him live in person last season vs Butler. Crazy range and fits the new NBA mold
That depends, is he a true PG, or a combo guard? We could use a 2nd PG on the team.....if Dame gets injured. But I guess we can get that with an older vet or a 2nd round pick
It's funny: I made two "The Case for Drafting..." threads last year - this one and one for Tyler Bey. Dallas ended up drafting both of them. And now they've dumped both of them before their second year! (I have to add that I would not have advocated drafting either, had we kept our pick (that ended up being used on the excellent Isaiah Stewart) - I would've said the OTHER Bey, Saddiq, whom I didn't think would be available. Terry was always going to be a project, but it looks like the new GM wants to get rid of all traces of Donnie Nelson (except Luka, that is).
Here's some background that might explain it: https://www.si.com/nba/mavericks/ne...p-tyrell-terry-news-luka-doncic-concerns-news Or here - he talks about a mental health issue that runs in the family. I'm going to guess depression? Lord, I hope it isn't schizophrenia.
