that would seem to be good news for the D's because if young people wait til election day, a lot of them don't vote

of course, those could mostly be the young people who would vote anyway, they are just doing it early this year

in other words, I have no fucking clue what this means

Perhaps we should talk instead about how Giuliani was ‘happily’ married to his 2nd cousin for 14 years

Couldn't care less who marries whom. Their business.

Republicans are putting their all into clinging to Senate majority, pouring millions of dollars into close races. They could then block all legislation and all appointments, even a Biden cabinet. So what if the population suffers as long as they have power.

a lot of analysis on the potential future Blue Wave heading our way as young voters become a bigger and bigger slice of the electorate:

based upon an Atlantic article behind a pay wall:

    https://www.theatlantic.com/politic...gen-z-will-soon-dominate-us-elections/616818/

and summarized by the left wing Daily Kos:

    https://www.dailykos.com/stories/20...-GOP-s-Demographic-Doom?utm_campaign=trending

    **********************************************************************

I'm a little skeptical the blue wave will be as dominant as they are saying, but maybe. Plenty of people change their political perspectives between the ages of 18 and 30. There is that old saying: "a conservative is just a former liberal who got mugged".

but I do think there is a future blue wave on the way. The changeover of generational participation coupled with the coming increase of minority voting is an inevitable dynamic. And this is coming at a time when the repugnican party is being driven by vocal subsets of their base demanding goals & policies that the younger and minority voters hate. And once somebody locks into a party affiliation, they are not prone to changing

the map I posted was not of what the overall electoral college projection. It was the state of voting nationally in the 18-40 age group

It appears that young people are voting in substantial numbers for a change, which is great news!

Not just because they are likely voting for Trump's removal, but also because in general the country will work better if young people take an interest.

As you know, THE HCP gets confused sometimes....... Is the RED in this used for the year or that the young peeps are voting for Trump?

No, the red does not mean that. We don't know how anyone has voted. The votes have not been counted.
