Struve vs. Tuivasa should be nuts. Both guys have sorry records in recent years and nothing to lose. Stuve by sub, I think.
Umar Nurmagomedov is out of his fight, hospitalized in Dubai with pretty bad staph infection. There is some concern that Khabib fight may be in danger; John Morgan reported as of this time the fight is still 100% on; no word on why the fight would be in danger...obvious answer is Khabib could have staph? Who the fuck knows..please let this happen...
Screaming A Smith: Let's talk about how you don't want to give Conor attention Khabib: nyet SAS: oh, ok brother...
Always love to see a Bobby Knuckles win, and two straight is encouraging, but I didn't see anything to say he has anything for Adesanya. In fact, with the leg work Cannonier put in I think Whittaker would be even easier work for Israel. Bobby is tough, but Israel is on a whole different level. Hate to see Walt Harris lose. He has to be an emotional favorite for most of us. Khabib is Khabib. If he really is retired maybe Poirier and Conor is for the strap?

Missed this show, regrettably. Khabib has retired but no fighters ever really retire... Lightweight GOAT for sure, and he makes a case for being in the top-5 or top-10 fighters ever.
Khabib is top 3 all time, IMO. 29-0...can't argue it. For sure the LW Goat. Amazing performance from Khabib. He's the one person whose truly retired. The guy has always been a man of his word. I told my buddies last week I bet he retires, he's not going to fight without his dad. 29-0. Mad respect.
GSP was recently in Moscow to corner one of his teammates (BTW, what a guy, imagine not too may legends go this far out of their way). He spoke to Khabib who told him not to stay in the hotel that he had booked as he would be mobbed by fans staying there. Khabib booked him a room in another hotel (probably a 5-star) to stay in instead on the condition that he not imbibe, which GSP agreed to.
