    Kushner says in April, "And what Trump's been able to do is, I say he basically did a full hostile takeover of the Republican Party."

    Yet so many Republicans will vote for him simply because he's running as a Republican.

    this is oversimplifying the whole thing and you're forgetting the credits people will get with the Biden plan.

    - increased child tax credit now up to 3600k per child
    - 5k tax credit for informal caregivers (aka if grandparents are looking after children).
    -15k credit for first time home buyers

    You are assuming that the entire thing is thrown out, but that's not actually what Biden is proposing.

    That said, it's almost impossible to change the tax code and not affect anyone under $400k, so even if that's the plan, the most likely outcome is that some under $400k pay more, some pay less, and the average is no change.
