I bet that poster design is the most Hallowe'en the UFC would let the graphic designer go. JFC guys, why not break the template every so often? A campy Hallowe'en themed show would be amazing.
This is actually a pretty stacked FN card. I really hope Silva doesn't go out on a KO loss. I hope he can lend and put Hall out. I don't know though, he seems to just want to have fun in there. Hall is fighting for his UFC future I think; he's going to be looking to kill. Love the Mitchell / Fili fight. Holland / Muradov are two great prospects; great fight. As always, hoping Hardy gets KTFO.
Dude's MMA career has been a total clown show every step of the way. From his dubious entrance into MMA after terrorizing his woman and unable to act right in the NFL, to the illegal knee, inhaler-gate, and now barely able to make 265-lbs. What is next for this guy? Hopefully a brutal KO from Greene, but the UFC seems dead set on coddling this guy along with tomato can opponents so probably not.
Scary moment for the Holland/Ontiveros fight, as Charlie had to be carted off. During the takedown Ontiveros landed hard on his neck according to Holland and something appears injured.
They are still making a big deal out of the camo shorts. That's how normal the UFC 'uniform' has become.
I don't want to say Hall is scared, but he is certainly giving Anderson too much respect. Not putting together any combinations, flinching on every Silva movement, and just letting Anderson dictate everything about the fight at the moment.
Not the outcome for Silva I wanted, but Hall turned the fight around with that short right in the 3rd. Nice show of respect for Silva and Hall to end the fight.
