    The Qualifying offer to LeMahieu should be a formality I'd be pretty sure the Yankees will re-sign him. No such offers extended to Paxton or Tanaka. Paxton can go for all I care. If the Yankees can get Tanaka on a two year deal at a reasonable cost then go for it

    The QO is still almost $7 Mil more than he's made the last 2 seasons ($12 Mil per) and even if he turns it down the Yanx can still lure him back.

    ...but yeah, I'd much rather not mess around and just go ahead and give him a solid 3-4 year deal.

    Stantons choice to remain with the Yankees makes the smirk on Jeters face remain and the thorn in the Yankees side deepen. No oone elase wound want him anyway. In the case of LeMay get a deal to a deserving player done.

    As for Cashman.....looks to me he is solidly becoming the Yankees free loader. This guy gets a free ride
