Re: Your team's "no no no, yes yes yes" player When I say "no no no, yes yes yes" player, I mean the player on your team who gets the ball and while you're watching, you get worried. You might be anticipating a turnover, a bad shot, or out of control play in general. He might convert and make something happen, but for the most part you get worried. Most of us could probably point out each player on each team, but hey it's the offseason and there is absolutely nothing to talk about today.For Boston, it's definitely Gerald Green. He has a pretty stroke and he's a freak athlete, the guy can score, but he is a horrible ball handler. Every time I see him handle the ball off penetration, on the break, or off the catch, I anticipate sloppy play.
Re: Your team's "no no no, yes yes yes" player lol as a heat fan I always get worried when Antoine has the ball, because I never know if he's just going to throw up a brick or what, most of the time especially last year that happened quite frequently but the year the Heat won the final he did do some damage.
Re: Your team's "no no no, yes yes yes" player The players I see from the Grizzlies is Kyle Lowry and Tarence Kinsey. Lowry reminded me in the Summer League how reckless he plays. When hes trying to do a putback amongst the bigs, I get anxious as hell...he falls all the time but he always gets up(when he broke his wrist, he actually kept playing through it). Tarence Kinsey is very much the same, except its his frame that worries me. He too drives hard into the lane and sometimes takes weird angled shots that make me freakout asking myself why he took that...but he makes it.

Also, when Etan Thomas takes those fifteen foot jumpers right at the FT line, I go f*cking crazy. A player who does the get the ball more than Ruffin and Etan is DeShawn Stevenson. Every time he attempts to create offense for himself, usually one of these three will happen: 1) He loses the ball trying to get by his man.2) When he gets to the hoop, he doesn't finish.3) When he gets to the hoop, he gets stuffed the sh*t out of him (and he always pretends it's a foul).I still like DeShawn, but when he tries to create for himself, it can turn into a disaster.

He has more no, no, no, yes!! moments than any player I have ever seen. He even putts them up on the fast break. As good of a slasher as he is, he chooses to put up some terrible 15 foot jumper. Well, at least he makes them I guess. Unlike Troy Hudson :brickwall:

Re: Your team's "no no no, yes yes yes" player Through most of the 06-07 season, I felt as though it was Jarvis Hayes. Whenever Hayes would get the ball he'd chuck up a contested three and I would hear the sound of 'clank' coming out of the speakers. Yet even after his 41% field goal shooting, Eddie Jordan would still keep him on the floor. However, towards the end of the season, Hayes found his stroke and started knocking down shots and had a better selection.Another guy was Michael Ruffin, Zards mentioned him earlier. He has absolutely no offensive game, and when he does get the ball it's instant panic and mental errors. He's a decent defender but the only team he's ever contributed to offensively is the Toronto Raptors where he gave Mo Pete the shot of a lifetime.

Unlike Troy Hudson :brickwall:</div>That's the thing about Ricky, he doesn't have the best shot selection BUT he does also have one of the best mid-range games in the NBA, in my opinion. I'd prefer he would draw contact rather than pulling up from 17 on a 2-on-1 break, but he does hit them. I really miss Ricky. The energy he brings is/was outstanding and he's one of the most deadly 1-on-1 scorers in the NBA when he's feeling good.

He has one move- a crossover, and he's been picked by players like DeSagana Diop during the playoffs. He makes terrible decisions and will never be hesitant to throw up a 4-on-1 fastbreak three pointer. Sometimes during clutch moments he tries to take over the game, but he really isn't good at finishing...Overall he's a pretty solid player, but during clutch moments he is the last person I want with the ball. That and the fact you never know if he's going to completely blow his lid and get a technical on a bad call.Either way, anyone is better than Mike Dunleavy.
Re: Your team's "no no no, yes yes yes" player Luckily we get rid of ours, it really sucked having a defensive skinny center who couldnt score for a damn, and having a fat overweight lazy player who only knew how to post well, and had no clue how to stop turning over the ball or get more rebounds then a sf. Complete opposites, even though we have no defined pf yet I think we have plenty of talent developing there to go along with the best defensive player since jordan retired and the fall of the greatest center classes.
Re: Your team's "no no no, yes yes yes" player I'd say it's Joey Graham, but I'm not exactly sure what the topic suggests. Joey is a nice athlete, but he makes some really boneheaded plays at times. He sometimes forces up terrible shots off the dribble, and he makes bad passes at times. But some days he is good. When he's aggressive, he's at his best because his confidence goes up and he doesn't only rely on mid range shots. When he takes them, he's open, and he usually makes them. So you don't know if you're going to get the cautious Joey, or the aggressive Joey on any given night. That's why I kind of want the guy traded.

So many turnovers when he plays, but he usually plays when the game is a huge blowout.EDIT: I want Joey Graham out of Toronto too.
Re: Your team's "no no no, yes yes yes" player Jamal Crawford for the Knicks.The guy gets the ball and seems clueless, especially for the first 3 and a half quarters. He'll struggle with everything and it just pisses you off to no end. Then of course when you have no hope for the guy, he drains a game winning shot to make you like him again for at least another 24 hours.
Re: Your team's "no no no, yes yes yes" player Marvin Williams.. he can't really create, or shoot and most of his points come off dunks.. Most of the time I want him passing the ball but then sometimes he'll suprise me and he'll posterize someone.. but he worries me alot when he gets the ball.
