Exactly, he's a dumb fuck. Pointless to reason with him. He understands very little about what he watches on the screen. Thomas was supposed to be eased into the season at RT but Soldier opted out so he was thrown into the fire. The center has never played center until this season. Hernandez is young and has been on a crap line his first two seasons. We all know Jones holds the ball forever and the Giants RB's and TE's consistently don't pick up blocks. Thomas had a tough game vs the Rams but there were plenty of plays that Jones held onto the ball forever because nobody gets open. What peckerhead Chuck doesn't understand is what I said above. PFF doesn't factor in pressures or sacks based off the time your QB holds the ball. Or whether they overload to one side. Brady has never been willing to take a hit. He always wants to get rid of the ball in less than 3 seconds. Thus why his OL have for the most part always graded out high. Cleveland has a monster running game. Jones has thrown the ball 32, 36, 40 and 41 times in 4 games. Mayfield has thrown the ball 23, 23, 30 and 39 in 4 games. You can't point things like this out to Chuck because he's dumber than dog shit.

WHO PUT THIS TEAM TOGETHER? It is truly amazing. I am honestly not sure if you are that clueless and don't get it, or if you are just ignoring it. On our way to another 3-5 win season, but sure Gettleman deserves to be here still. It is truly the twilight zone in here.

Chuck doesn't examine anything but dumb news articles. Chubb ran for just under 1,500 yards with a 5 ypc last season long before Wills got there. That line was already good. They just drafted him because Mayfield sucked and they have to give him the best line available to dummy proof him. Chuck doesn't use the if the roles are reversed theory. If he thinks Wirfs or Wills would be grading out anywhere near what they are now if they were on the Giants, he's the worlds biggest retard. Not a chance. Becton has been the most impressive but his frame projects to a very short NFL career. If Chuck followed history which he doesn't, big guys usually don't come back well from injuries. Especially when they are that big. They also are notorious for having back problems. Shoulder problems are almost as bad and his shoulder is already hurting him. Thomas has played 4 games on a line that has a center who never played center I believe until this season. A right tackle who was not wanted by his previous team. A right guard who has had his head up his ass this season. A LG who is also trying to figure things out. A QB in a new offense who holds the ball forever. RB's who don't pick up blitzes. A TE who couldn't block Chuck. Yet, he's reading a dumb fuck who is probably 5'5, fat, has no athletic skill and writes for the post when it comes to evaluating a draft pick 4 games into the season. Typical Chuck.

All those players that cannot block and hold the ball forever were brought here by Gettleman.

As for Thomas, as I wrote earlier, it is way too soon to draw conclusions either way. He may be great, and he may not be great, just saying so far he has been up and down, which isn't unexpected. We'll see how it goes moving forward.

Unbelievable there is this much arguing about a player who has 4 starts under his belt. For fucks sake, it takes more than a couple up and down games that EVERY PLAYER EVER has had to write the book on someone. And saying "well I said its too soon to draw conclusions" is bullshit because by even drawing attention to it one way (good) or the other (bad) is basically an effort at running an "I told you so" victory lap. Just shut the fuck up and watch this shitty team continue to be shitty and don't be surprised when the lose. Also, just admit your ChuckD. You're pathetic.

Once again A game from the kids in here - all 6 of them. Keep the cursing and bad attitudes going. Let's keep the echo chamber of 6 people all agreeing with each other strong on this board...LOL. Sad...

Bumping this thread because credit where credit is due, the line is starting to come together. I was very hard on Gates the first few weeks but the past couple of games he has been stellar. If he keeps it up we could have something there. It's sometimes hard to remember but with no preseason and a limited training camp these guys were all behind the normal season development, then throw in a new coaching staff and in Gates' case a new position he's never played before and it's easy to see why it took a bit of time for things to start to click.

Lemieux has looked pretty good in his time as well. He run blocks tough but you can tell his pass protection needs some work. He gets caught off balance a bit too much.

A combination of Thomas and Peart at T, Hernandez and Lemieux at G, and Gates in the middle going forward could be an excellent foundation. We're even starting to run the ball. If Saquon comes back healthy next year, things could be very interesting.

If McKinney had played all year we would be 5-4 at worst. The free safety position has killed this team for years. It's easily lost us 3 games this year. Maybe more.

The Jets loss to the Patriots verifies they are shit out of luck. They may match Detroit's o-16 record.

Jets don't want to win. Though, as I tried to tell Chuck, there are huge issues drafting a guy the size of Becton. Those big guys almost never stay healthy. He's already had several injuries as a rookie. I don't expect him to play more than 4-5 years. If the Giants are drafting around 3 to 5. Gettleman should trade back a couple of times, pick up a couple of second rounders, draft a pass rusher or WR mid first. They go after a CB, WR and TE with those seconds. Engram just makes too many mistakes. They need to trade him at the draft. So they might have 4 second rounders if Gettleman can actually trade back for once and trade Engram. Engram had three more bonehead plays last week. His first drop in his hands that almost led to his INT. His easy drop which cost us a first down to pretty much ice the game. His idiotic offensive pass interference late in the 4th.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lawrence goes back to school next year. It's not like the old days where you needed to be in NY or LA for marketing off the field. Risky for sure if he gets hurt but i think it's at least 50/50 he does.

I agree, especially if the NYJ wind up with the first pick. I can't imagine he wants anything to do with that organization.

The Jets will probably be just as bad the following year however, so either way he may not be able to avoid them.

That would be pretty hilarious if they won the division and made the playoffs.

The giants despite not having the overall record yet have been playing some pretty good ball as the line starts to come together. They still need a few things like another impact receiver, a linebacker or 2 and a pass rusher but I like the way judge is keeping them focused and getting better every game. Right now I think they are the best team in the division but because of phillies tie they will need to probably beat one of the teams they're not supposed to like the browns, seahawks, arizona or ravens to have a shot at winning the division. As a season ticket holder I'm happy that it looks like they finally got the right coach in there and its fun again to watch this team compete each week as they are doing!!
