Melo's gamewinning shots are single coverage, kobe majority of the time down the strecth does not recieve single coverage. The game that amazed me was 2 seasons ago, lakers vs denver in Denver. Carmelo was single coveraged with devean george whilst kobe was being haggled by 2 men.Anyone see team usa scrimmage? that's what happens when bryant has single coverage, he will make you pay.

He's gonna keep going till he convinces everyone that Kobe is Jesus.

To make the thread different. who would you give the ball to on your team? I would say that if David West is at the top of the key, give it to him. Or let Chris Paul drive it.

'Melo. Like Grizz said, 'Melo has hit more game winners and has a better percentage when the game is on the line. I am going with him to hit the shot. He is just naturally clutch and easily one of the top 3 clutchest players in the league.

All his other shots were single coverage, unless he was in the paint. So please, stop using that homer opinion.Carmelo Anthony: http://youtube.com/watch?v=hsoWjL4jrDMHe's just as covered as Kobe is most of the time.Since Melo has been in the league, he's hit more clutch shots, at a MUCH higher percentage. Give me Melo over Kobe.

[IMG] Josh Howard and Stack are pretty good second-options in those situations.

For the Grizzlies, either Gasol or Stoudamire. Both guys have hit their fair share of game-winners for us. Before Stoudamire's injury in '05, he was hitting shots to tie the game or put us in the lead every night it seemed. My favorite was a 3 pointer over Ben Wallace's outstretched arms to tie the game, before Billups had to ruin the mood and hit the game-winner on the next posession.

Ben Gordon's been very clutch for the Bulls over his career. I have the feeling less so last year, but he had a lot more guys focused on him.

    It's either Kobe or Gilbert.

Kobe will get to the line or get enough space for a shot, and Gilbert will get to the line or score off penetration.

Pierce deserves consideration because of his ability to draw fouls and hit free-throw shots. He also is very capable of hitting clutch perimeter shots like the one he made against Washington two years ago to win the game.
