<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>A judge today ordered the government to pay more than $101 million after four men spent decades in prison for a 1965 murder they didn't commit. The FBI encouraged perjury, helped frame the men and withheld information that could have cleared them, the judge said.</div>http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/law/07/26/wrong...s.ap/index.html Wow, the FBI are a bunch of assholes.
While I think they probably deserve to be set for life after being wrongfully imprisoned for so long, the government needs to be more careful about who they throw in prison so they don't have to throw all that money away.
Back in the 60's/70's when the FBI was heavy in the mafia, and in many ways in bed with them, things got fishy and a lot of sh*t went bad.
Yeah, the CIA too. That "family jewels" report they finally released a couple weeks ago detailed many leaders that they hired the mafia to try to assassinate.

So they get 101 million for being wronfully incarcerated for 42 years, but these freakin kids that were molested by priests 30 years ago and never told a soul get 660 million? Doesn't seem right.EDIT: I'm not saying the molested didn't have hard times etc. But 660 million alltogether...my god. I would let myself be molested for that kind of money.

Of course I probably would let myself get molested for that kind of mad money....Also, you do make a valid point that the kids could have told people. It just goes to show how brainwashed a lot of churchgoers are that they think it would be wrong to tell people that they got molested.
