Donyell Marshall has been forgotten, until this years finals. He used to start in several different locations, including Toronto, but then got pushed to the bench in Cleveland.

QUOTE (SirLaker @ Jul 27 2007, 05:32 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Why are your hopes gone? He has just recently recovered from his injury, re-signed with the Lakers this off-season, and will playing next season.
because hes never had a complete season, and played over 70 games twice. 05-06 was his year too, his career best year infact, I was hoping he could bounce back and improve, doesn't look like it though. Players with that history of injury especially coming off season ending ones usually dont play the best ball of their career.

A lot of those guys, like Bibby and SAR just never seemed to live up to their initial hype. Francis seems like some of his injuries took a lot out of him.

Charlotte and Sacramento seem to be star killing towns. Emeka Okafor would be a much bigger name if he played for a bigger team.

When I opened this thread though, I was expected to hear about guys like Glen Rice or Wayman Tisdale who were pretty good players that people forget about quickly once they're done.

But yeah, everyone seems to have forgotton about Bibby and he's not even done yet.

Ithinkheisagreatexampleforthisthread. AsIposted in the Blazers Forum, I think he would be a solid pickup for the Blazers.

I always wonder what happens to highly touted college players after the draft. Once the attention goes, so do most of them.

Pops Mensah-Bonsu: I think he's on the Mavs, whether its their NBDL or summer league team

    Taj Gray - Overseas

    Guillermo Diaz - Overseas

    Alexander Johnson - Waived

    Hassan Adams - Waived

    Julius Hodge - ?
