Keep in mind, this is a 6-1 guard who averaged more than 6 rebounds per game in college over his career playing in the ACC. He was more of a football player in HS.

I think he'd be a fit on the Blazers, TBH. He's the under-the-radar type of player who does well here.

If the rumor is true and Olshey is actually targeting Bowman, that means he’s got other plans for the BAE, my guess being Melo.

Completely agree, this reminds me of a Jarrett Jack type player. Also I could see this guy becoming a fan favorite.

I also like Shaq Harrison as an under the radar PG and very good defender, "seems" he a better shooter than some of these other guys but limited data set for 3's

Does he actually play PG on offense? Because if he's halfway decent at setting up an offense and he's a plus defender, AND he's cheap... that seems like a pretty good fit as PG depth.

I’d love to get This guy. I remember him always being that pain in the ass type player.

Nice to have on our side.

My guess is that NYK "wants" him, but isn't offering much.

He looks like a lot of fun; why is GS releasing him?

Looking at their tax bill, that doesn't seem to be a big concern.

But can he dribble the ball off his foot out of play?

Good times. Brings me back to the multiple dribble --> foot just under the 3 point line jumpshots from Travis Outlaw.

I don’t think so. I’ve been watching some of his games and although he can score on offense, doesn’t seem to be a good facilitator. He kept missing cutters that most PG’s would hit. But he did seem to be trying and not just chucking. Seems like he doesn’t see all the options but when he makes a decision he’s actually pretty damn good.

playing him second unit and letting kantor and RoCo take on more facilitating duties could work. And pairing him with CJ or Lillard for spells might be perfect since they can be ball dominant and Ky can can really be a pest.

Question about bowman, doesn’t he have to pass through waivers? Why wouldn’t someone claim him?

It's not true. The twitter post in the OP was just some dude referencing a Blazers tweet. I don't think the Blazers twitter admin has a pulse on who we're going after, and if he did and he tweeted it, he'd be fired in the next week.

    Interesting, how rumors get started.
